16.01.12:  Mumiy Troll gives out prizes.

The New Year holidays are over, and Mumiy Troll, like a professional Santa Claus, summarizes the results of the two mumiy-contests: “Sing with us, Small Leaves' and “Draw a Tiger'.

In the children's creative contest “Sing with us, Small Leaves', we asked kids and their parents to shoot video for the “Lepestochki' (Small Leaves) song and put it online. It turned out to be extremely hard to choose the winner in the contest – we really wanted to say “friendship (everybody) wins!' All the small participants showed real flair, creativity and sharpness in creating their unique New Year images. We'd like to specially note the work of not just the star kids, but also of cameramen and producers – their gifted parents. We thank all the participants of the contest and hope to see them soon in all kinds of children music programs. The main prize, the fashionable modern Mumiy-iPod, goes to the town of Izhevsk, to Liza Perminova and Daniil Dudin. The audience recognition award is given to Masha Kisilenko from Kiev. For many years already, Mumiy Troll has been participating in nature and wild animals protection activities, in particular saving Amur tigers. Ilya Lagutenko is a guardian of Amur charity fund that protects Amur tigers and Far Eastern leopards. The band's “Amba' album was dedicated to the tiger, and this year the band plans to release a series of books about these amazing animals. In the “Draw a Tiger' contest, any artist aged from 1 to 101 could prove him or herself by portraying the animal in any technique: hand-drawing, appliqué' work, digital design or anything else. The works of the contest – tigers of all colors, shades, forms, ages and breeds, – may be seen at Ikra.tv. Several unique artworks will be included in the series of books about tigers, for readers young and adult. The winners of the contest are: Zanda Markitane, Lena S and Marina. They will receive the gift book about tigers with Ilya Lagutenko's autograph.
