09.08.10:  Unfinished lyrics for the Redkie Zemli (Rare Lands) album.

In April, Mumiy Troll has released its Redkie Zemli (Rare Lands) album, opened by an instrumental composition entitled Voina chelovechkov (War of Little Men). Now, several months after the album release, this song has obtained lyrics!

Ilya Lagutenko: “There are songs that are useful for raising spirits. And my personal experience has this wonderful summer story: we had the instrumental composition Voina chelovechkov. Someday, just like that, to raise spirits after a long trip through Russia's Golden Ring roads reminding me of an ocean storm, I started to compose some words for this melody, just on the road. The characters were the band members, passing acquaintances, road signs and dreams of far away countries. One version, and there were probably one million hundred thousand of them, seemed good enough so I recorded it in our studio when I came back home. I think this song is good for meeting a sunrise, or racing somewhere, and coming back, and dancing and sitting… This song is for everything, a refreshing summer song for good spirit.'

The song, now entitled Mir chelovechkov (The Peace of Little Men), will be included in an exclusive disk released for the Russian Rare Lands tour. The tour's concerts will be held in 50 cities, and in conclusion the band will perform in SK Ledovy Dvorets (Ice Palace Hall of Sports) in St. Petersburg (4th of December) and SK Olympisky in Moscow (9th of December).

You can listen to the song Mir chelovechkov on our website, Discography/Beyond the Albums and on Ikra.tv network.
